City Front Terrace 10
The existing kitchen consisted of white melamine cabinets and the clients wanted an updated kitchen that consisted of a warmer palette with more functional storage. A beautiful Eucalyptus veneer was used as the main finish for the cabinetry, accented by a thermofoil gloss finish. Framed uppers help lighten the space while the lit areas above and below the uppers highlights the colorful glass backsplash. Pantry storage is created by wrapping the veneer around the corner of the kitchen by the entry in the same veneer. Trash pull-outs and multiple drawers for pots and pans provide easy access and plenty of storage. A Caesarstone countertop for easy maintenance helps tie the entire space together. The countertop also cantilevers off the island to provide the clients a space to enjoy their breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening.
The warm finishes were carried into the master bathroom to relate to the surrounding art pieces throughout the space. A crushed glass mosaic backsplash was used. A vanity area with drawer banks provides storage for everyday items. Additional tall storage is also available within the master bath for linen storage.
The updated cabinetry and finishes is now in sync with the remaining of the home creating a warm and beautiful atmosphere.
