The clients’ home overlooks the ocean, therefore, the theme of the home is “tranquility and peace.” The powder room is designed to complement the Zebrano and wenge accents used throughout the home. These clients wanted a clean and unique use of materials, a “strong” presence, and a zen-like feeling for the space.
These clients have a busy schedule, particularly in the mornings. Therefore, this master bath was designed to be open to the bedroom and adjacent to the walk-in closet. The mirror above the dresser houses a 50″ plasma TV that is visible only when the television is turned on, making it convenient for them to watch as they are getting ready for work. In the evenings, these clients relax in the Phillippe Starck tub while listening to ocean waves.
