Indian Wells 1
This home is located in Indian Wells and is the third home we have designed for these clients, who have used Borrelli Design+Cabinetry for 30 years. The kitchen cabinetry is solid cherry with a blackstone stain, done in a modernized Tuscan style. The hood is custom-made with a grape leaf trim. The appliances are all manufactured by Wolf and have a twenty-year life span. The granite countertops feature a 2-1/2 inch ogee edge. Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunken bar with an icemaker, beverage center, and back-lit liquor storage; a 300-bottle walk-in wine cellar is next to the bar.
The audio-video cabinet in the great room has been stained with an aged cedar gray and contains the home’s extensive audio and video setup.
The powder room cabinet and mirror frame are made of Pau Ferro veneer, accented with gold leaf to compliment the custom cast glass sink and gold-plated antique faucet.
The master bath was also done in an aged cedar stain and we created custom mirrors to compliment the light Tuscan flavor of the home. The walk-in closet is fitted with a department-store three-way mirror, hidden jewelry trays, and storage for an extensive collection of shoes, sweaters, handbags, and accessories.
The laundry room cabinetry is quarter-sawn Sapele and features a hang-dry cabinet with heat lamps and a fan, pull-out laundry baskets, broom and vacuum storage, as well as a Miele washer and dryer. There is plenty of countertop and cabinet storage in this laundry room.
